Preschool Information

The St. Croix preschool program is a traditional preschool that is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Early childhood programs accredited by NAEYC's National Academy of Early Childhood Programs have voluntarily undergone a comprehensive process of internal self-study, invited external professional review to verify compliance with the Criteria for High-Quality Early Childhood Programs, and been found to be in substantial compliance with the Criteria.

St. Croix Preschool follows the Stillwater School District 834 calendar. Holiday closings for the preschool are published well in advance for the parents' convenience.

Monthly lesson plans are prepared by teachers and are posted for parents to review. Our Preschool program provides a combination of both structured and "free time" activities, with enough flexibility to accommodate any child's individual needs and interests.  Physical activity is a part of each day's program.

4 and 5 Year-Olds

(Note: Mon/Wed/Fri morning students must be 4 by Sept 1st and planning to attend Kindergarten in the fall of 2007)
 
 
Tue/Thu Days 9:00am - 1:00pm
Registration Fee $50.00 per family, upon enrollment
Ticket to Travel $75 per child. This fee covers all field trips and special events. Due in September.

Mon/Wed/Fri Morning $244.00 per month
Tue/Thu Morning $196.00 per month
TUITION and POLICY AGREEMENT

TUITION
Tuition must be paid on a monthly basis. Payments are due by the 5th of every month. If payment is not received a $5.00 late fee will be added. An additional $5.00 charge will be added each week that the account remains overdue, up to three weeks. If the account is not paid in full by three weeks the child will be removed from the nursery school enrollment.

The school will charge overdue accounts an interest rate of 18% per year.

At the time of registration, the $50.00 non-refundable registration fee plus May’s tuition – will be required to reserve the child’s space.

There will be a $25.00 service fee for any returned check (NSF).

TERMINATION OF ENROLLMENT
A written two-week notice is required prior to terminating a child’s enrollment. Tuition for the month, Ticket to Travel, and the registration fee will not be refunded.

LATE POLICY
$5.00 for each 15-minute interval

If a parent fails to pick up a child after closing time the staff will attempt to contact the parents and all emergency numbers. If unable to contact anyone within one hour the police will be notified to pick up the child.

CHANGE OF CONTRACT
To change your contract and bill you must submit a request in writing two weeks prior to the change along with a $10.00 change of service fee. You are responsible for tuition according to the old contract until the change goes into effect.

St. Croix Preschool located at 6201 Osgood Ave in Stillwater invites all children ages 2-4 years to attend a free fun-filled preschool preview class with their parents. The class will be held on Friday, March 7th from 9:30-11:00am.
