Katy

Hi, my name is Katy, I was raised in rural Southwest MN. I attended Luverne High School and Sioux Falls College before moving to the Stillwater area. I attended Rasmussen College for Early Childhood Education, birth to age 8.

I started working here in the fall of 1991. I have worked both at the Preschool and at the Daycare.

I am the parent of 4 boys, 3 of which attended both the St. Croix Day Care and Preschool.

My goal is to provide a safe and trusting environment where a child is comfortable being themselves. I work on living skills that will help them learn about the world around them. I teach responsibility and making good choices. I have learned that a smile and a hug feel terrific and if you can?t make a mess it?s not worth doing.

My name is Chris. My husband Tim and I are from Superior, WI. We now live in Hudson, WI with our two sons, Tad, and Mitch, and our dog Jazzy.

My family and I enjoy four wheeling, camping, and biking; I also enjoy stamping, beading, and reading.

After being a certified nurses aide in Superior, we moved down here where I attended Northeast Metro Tech. for Early Childhood Development and Child Psychology. My goal is to help your child become independent, and to know that they, and their opinion are valuable. I also want them to feel safe and well cared for while here at SCDC.
